The development history behind Duke Nuke'em Forever is a long and tortured saga beginning in 1997 and eventually leading to the demise of development studio 3D Realms. Now 2K Games has announced at PAX Prime that they are reviving the moribund game for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and putting it in the capable hands of Borderlands creators, Gearbox Software.
